What Are The Methods Of PCB De-welding?

(1) Split welding method: For horizontal installation of resistance and capacitance components, the two welding points are far apart, so the electric iron can be used to heat point by point and pull out point by point. If the pin is bent, pry it straight with a soldering iron and remove it. To remove and weld, erect the pcb, heat the solder joint of the pin of the component to be removed with an electric iron, and gently pull out the pin of the component with tweezers or needle-nose pliers.

(2) centralized de-welding method: Because the pin of the line resistor is welded separately, it is difficult to heat with electric iron at the same time. A hot air welder can be used to quickly heat several welding spots, and the solder can be pulled out after melting.

(3) Retain the de-welding method: First, use the tin absorbing tool to absorb the solder of the de-welding head. Usually, components can be removed. For multi-pin electronic components, electronic heat fans can be used for heating.

If the components or pins overlap, you can impregnate the solder joints with flux, then weld the solder joints with an electric iron, and then remove the pins or wires of the components. If it is a hook welded part or pin, first remove the solder from the solder joint with an electric iron, then heat it with an electric iron to melt the residual solder under the hook. At the same time, the spade must be used to tilt the pin towards the hook line. Do not exert too much force when prying up, so as not to splash melted solder into your eyes or clothing.

(4) Cutting and welding methods: If there is any margin for the pins and wires of the component at the removed weld points, or if the component is determined to be damaged, the component or wire can be cut first before removing the wire ends from the pad.
